What can I say, Big Boi is using all his resources to make sure that he provides us with a great album. With the releases such as; Royal Flush featuring Andre 3000 & Raekwon, also Sumthin’s Gotta Give featuring Mary J. Blige, Ringtone, Dubbz, For Your Sorrows featuring George Clinto & Too Short – Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty is building up to be a great album thus far. With that said, we can now include Shine Blockas featuring Gucci Mane. I will admit, I’m not a big Gucci Mane fan but Peeks has put me onto some of Gucci Mane’s better work & he’s alright. Shine Blockas dropped about a week ago & if you haven’t got this track, this is your chance! Shine Blockas provides the usual Big Boi smooth-heavy hitting flow [...only the strong survive and the weak minded fall at the waist side...] and Gucci Mane comes in and definitely contributes more than his two-cents and provides a great chorus. Well, what can you say; it seems like Mr. West is taking the saying, the world is your oyster, to a literal sense. Cause Mr. West has been doing what he’s been wanting to do for the past year or so. And with good reason, I can’t argue the fact of what he did to Taylor Swift hasn’t “wrong” but I think Kanye is the type of guy who isn’t gonna sit still. If he wants to say something, he’ll say it, like it or not, he’s gonna do it. So say what you say & all these artists jumping on this bandwagon with Taylor Swift, please. You’re doing nothing but feeding Mr. West’s ego!
And if you don’t remember what Kanye said back two years ago; “…can’t tell me nothing…” if you don’t remember, here is the video!
And I really think that the actions on behalf of the homie Kanye West were influenced a little by a friend of his, Henny! Do you’re thing Mr. West, I could tell something was “weird” cause he was dressed down. Rocking black timbs & just regular baggy jeans + Henny = a good time. It’s cool to see Kanye West let loose…I enjoy going out and having a drink or two & getting into some “trouble” as well, why can’t he?!

Apparently, Wale has pushed back his album Attention: Deficit; and this is all his doing according to Wale. BUT for good reason, Wale pushed back Attention: Deficit back to Nov. 3rd cause Wale wants to make sure that he hits all his favorite cities one more time before going on tour with Jay-Z & Lupe Fiasco!
Good enough reason to push back your album!
36 years ago today, Sept. 14th – Olu Dara’ s son; Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones, who we know as NAS was born. Nas til this day is in the top 5 emcees on my list.
